Leads
Lead views in Leadnote: card, table and Kanban
Switch the Leads & Customers screen between Card, Table and Kanban views, choose table columns, set page size and move leads by dragging cards.
The Leads & Customers screen shows the same leads in three ways: Card, Table and Kanban. Use the three buttons next to the sort menu to switch. Leadnote remembers your choice, along with your sort order, page size and chosen columns, for your own user.
Card view
Each lead is a card with the name, organisation, a stage chip, the potential, the lead score, the lead source and the next follow-up. Buttons on the card let you act without opening the lead: Call, WhatsApp, Send SMS, Send Email, View Lead and the pencil for Edit Lead. The card also shows the last comment, or "No recent comment".
- Click the stage chip ("Click to update lead stage") to change the stage in place.
- Use Expand Card View or Collapse Card View to show more or less detail on every card.
Table view
The table is best for scanning many leads. By default it shows Name, Organization, List, Potential, Lead Stage, Customer Group, Deal Size, Score, Assigned To, Next Follow-up, Recent Activity, Posted By, Posted On and Last Modified.
To change the columns:
- Click Edit Columns above the table.
- Tick the columns you want. More are available, such as Designation, Email, Mobile, address parts, Tags, Product Group, Notes and Assigned By.
- Click Update. Reset to Default brings back the original set.
The Full Screen button gives the table the whole window, and Exit Full Screen returns you. The first column of every row has an Edit shortcut.
Kanban view
The Kanban view lays your pipeline out as columns, one for each lead stage. Each column header shows the number of leads and the total deal size of that stage.
- Move a lead: drag its card to another column. A message confirms the new stage. On a keyboard, focus a card, press Space to pick it up, use the left and right arrow keys to choose a stage, then press Space to drop it or Escape to cancel. Each card also has a menu to move it to another stage.
- Collapse columns: use Collapse All and Expand All, or collapse a single stage.
- Load more: each column loads 25 leads; click Load more for the rest.
- Deal size currency: if your deals use several currencies, a currency selector above the board switches the column totals between your base currency and the currencies of the deals.
- Manage Stage Details opens Settings, where stages are edited. See lead stages.
Page size, sorting and totals
In Card and Table views, the per page menu offers 50, 100, 150 or 200 leads. The page counter and the arrows move between pages, and Total Leads shows how many leads match.
Sort by has these options: Recently Added, Recently Acted, Potential, Lead Stage, Follow-up Date, Lead Score and ZIP Code. The default is Recently Acted.
The filter bar
Above the leads, four menus narrow the screen quickly: Select Lists, Select Lead Stages, Select Lead Sources and Select Users (assigned to). Use Hide Filters or Show Filters to collapse the filter panel on wide screens; on a narrow screen it opens as a drawer from the Filters button. Details are in search and filter leads and advanced filters.
Select leads for bulk actions
Tick the box on a card or row, or the box at the top to select everything on the page. When a whole page is selected, a link such as Select all 240 leads extends the selection to every lead that matches your filters. Then use the bulk action bar. See bulk actions on leads.
Open a lead
Click a lead's name to open its page. From there, the previous and next arrows move through your leads without going back to the list.
Frequently asked questions
How do I change which columns the table shows?
Switch to the Table view and click Edit Columns. Tick the columns you want, drag to reorder if offered, and click Update. Reset to Default restores the standard set.
How do I move a lead to another stage on the Kanban board?
Drag the card to the column of the new stage, or use the keyboard: focus the card, press Space, use the arrow keys to choose a stage and press Space again to drop.
Does Leadnote remember my view?
Yes. The view, sort order, page size, chosen columns and collapsed state are saved for your user, so the screen opens the way you left it.
How many leads show per page?
In Card and Table views you can show 50, 100, 150 or 200 per page. The Kanban view loads 25 per stage and offers Load more.
