Leadnote mobile app home screen and menu explained
A tour of the Leadnote Android app: the Leads, Follow-Ups and Notifications tabs, the toolbar, the add button, the side menu and Settings, and what each is for.
The Leadnote app opens on a home screen with three tabs at the bottom, a toolbar on top, a round add button and a side menu. Together they give you your leads, your follow-ups and your notifications in two taps or fewer.
This page names each part so you can find things quickly. Details of each feature are in the linked articles.
The three tabs
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Leads | Your lead list as cards, with the list selector at the top. |
| Follow-Ups | A week strip or month view of follow-ups, by day or timeline. |
| Notifications | What colleagues did on your leads, with an unread badge on the tab. |
The toolbar on the Leads tab
- Search opens lead search. It searches all leads stored on the phone.
- Sort & Filter lets you sort, filter by stage, assignee and follow-up date, and open the Advanced Filter.
- Insights shows your leads grouped by stage, with a funnel and results you can tap into.
- Map view shows leads that have a saved location. See Check-in, check-out and visits.
Tap the menu icon at the top left to open the side menu. Swipe a lead card to the side for quick actions such as call, WhatsApp or follow-up. Press and hold a card to select several leads at once. See Work with your lead list on mobile.
The add button
The round button at the bottom right opens a speed dial. Depending on your permissions it offers Add lead form, Quick add, Import contacts, Import VCF file, Add from Business Card, Integrations, Set follow-up and To-do. Details: Add leads on mobile.
The side menu
The header of the menu is a sync button. It reads "Tap to sync data" and shows "Syncing...", "Last sync:" with how long ago, or "Not synced yet". The same header shows your name, your role and the app version.
Entries appear according to your role. You may see:

Roles at a glance
The app explains roles on the Manage users screen: Account Owner manages users, lists and settings and sees every lead; Manager manages lists and sees every lead; L1 User sees assigned and unassigned leads; L2 User sees assigned leads only. Everyone can add leads and activities. The owner can see and change the full permission matrix on the web.

Frequently asked questions
Why do I see fewer menu items than a colleague?
The menu follows your role and permissions. For example Manage users and Manage Lists are for owners and managers, and Export Leads to Excel needs the export permission. Ask your Account Owner if you need access.
Where do I change the app language?
Open the menu, tap Settings, then Language under Application settings.
Can I change lead stages in the app?
No. The app shows the stages your organisation uses, but the Account Owner customises them on the web.
