Reports
Reports in Leadnote - what each report shows
See every Leadnote report in one place, where to open it, who can see it, and how the date ranges and currency options work across reports.
Leadnote has five reports on the Reports page, plus the Dashboard and an Account Insights summary for Owners and Managers. Open Reports in the left menu, pick a card, and set the filters on the report page. Owners and Managers can report on the whole organisation. Other users see their own work.
The reports page
The All Reports page shows one card per report. Type in Search reports... to narrow the cards.
| Card | What it opens | Read more |
|---|---|---|
| Sales Insights | The Dashboard: lead stage funnel, deal size, groups, tags, potential, and the follow-up schedule | Dashboard |
| Activity Report | Call, Field Visit, Transaction and To-do reports for a date range | Activity report |
| Data Analytics | Lead addition and conversion charts: My Leads, All Leads and user analysis | Lead analysis reports |
| Sales Trips | The Field Visit Tracker: check-ins and check-outs by your team | Locations visited report |
| Team Performance | Sales, lead management, communication and app metrics per person, with change against the previous period | Team performance report |
Account Insights is not on this page. Owners and Managers open it from the Account Insights section of Settings. See the Account Insights article for what it shows.
Who sees what
Reports follow your role and the permission matrix. By default every role can view reports, and only the Account Owner and Managers can export them. The Account Owner can change this in the permission matrix.
| Report | Account Owner and Manager | L1 and L2 User |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard | All leads in the lists you select | Leads you are allowed to see |
| Activity Report, Team Performance, Sales Trips | Any user or all users | Yourself. With team visibility on, also your teammates |
| Team Performance by team | Every active team, plus an Unassigned team row | Only with team visibility on |
| Data Analytics | My Leads, All Leads, Other MIS Reports, Team / User Analysis | My Leads Analysis only |
| Account Insights | Yes | No |
| Export to CSV | Yes, by default | No, by default |
"Teammates" are people who share an active team with you. Team visibility is a setting for the whole organisation, so ask your Account Owner if you cannot see colleagues in a report. Which leads you can see in the dashboard depends on list based access rights, explained in the lead visibility rules article.
Dates and time zone
Every report uses your organisation's time zone to decide where a day starts and ends. In Team Performance and Data Analytics, weeks run from Sunday to Saturday.
Team Performance offers these timelines: Today, Yesterday, Current Week, Last Week, Current Month, Last Month, Current Year, Last Year, Lifetime and Custom Date Range. Current Month and Current Year end today. Lifetime starts at the earlier of your account creation date and your oldest lead. The Activity Report and Sales Trips take a From and To date instead. Data Analytics uses its own list: This Week, Current Month, Last Month, Current Year, Last Year and All.
Money in reports
Reports that add up deal values or invoices have a currency switch with three choices:
- Base currency converts each amount at the rate recorded when it was sized, issued or paid, and adds them up in your base currency.
- Native shows one figure for each currency. Nothing is converted.
- Currency converts everything into one currency you pick, using the rate of each row's date.
Rows without an exchange rate are left out of a converted total, and a notice tells you how many. Owners and Managers get a link to enter the missing rate. The Dashboard and Team Performance articles show where the switch sits.
Print and export
Most report pages have a Print button, and the exportable ones have a CSV download. Both are covered in the export and print article. The Dashboard has no print or export button.
On the mobile app
In the mobile app, open Reports from the menu. Sales Insights and Team Performance open inside the app. Team Performance there is read only and needs an internet connection. The Activity Report, Data Analytics and Sales Trips open the web app in your browser. The Insights button on the Leads screen opens the same stage report as Sales Insights.
